Not so Smart Phone
Tuesday, December 13th, 2011The lap-top that my niece purchased is her third computer in 2 years.
She’s invariably been careless, and she tends to break things.
I remember the first time she had a smartphone, it fell down a toilet. And one of her laptops was just abandoned in a taxi, and hasn’t been spotted again. I hope that she is more careful with her Toshiba Satellite Pro, but I must say I am predicting that it won’t be too much time til she does some thing stupid and will need to acquire another laptop.
I have requested a different lap-top for Christmas.
My old laptop is a tad broken now, so when you don’t have it plugged in constantly it tends to go to sleep. The computer I hope for is the HP Pavilion g6, because this should be ideal for my needs. It is quite an expensive item to get for Christmas, however I think my dad and aunt will pool their resources to buy it.
My friend Richard bought a new computer. He picked it up cheap from a web-site online, and he is really pleased with that. It’s a Compaq presario CQ, and he makes use of it largely for his university assignments.
You have to have a laptop now in order to write up essays, since there are never enough in the library.
My uncle got his computer from a shop in town, and I’m sure he might have got it for half the price on line. It’s a fantastic laptop, nevertheless: a Sony Vaio VPC.
But he didn’t take the time to check out the prices from other places before he purchased it, and that’s the reason that he had to fork out such a lot of cash.
My father really likes his computer. He acquired it last year to replace the ageing box computer that lived in his study.
He has a Toshiba Satellite C660, and he brings it along wherever he goes. He maintains it has totally changed the way he does his job, because these days he is able to get stuff done on the bus, or even at the pub! Unquestionably changed days from the old days, and he was obliged to utilise a sizable typewriter.
